In this article i want to share with you one of my traveling experience : Cambodia

Cambodia is a country in southeast Asia with a population of about 15 million.
The capital of Cambodia is Phnom Penh. France and Cambodia are separated by about 10.000 km.

In summer 2008, i had the chance to go there with my best, we stayed about 1 month and we did so many beautiful things.

At the begining we stayed in Phnom Penh about 1 week in order to acclimate to the culture and especially the language, but fortunately for us all cambodian speak at least english and even sometimes french.

After we went to the north of country in order to visit Angkor Vat temples, one of the most beautiful things i saw in my life.

It's just amazing !









In some places we can even see the nature takes it courses.














At the end of our travel we went to the west to enjoy the beautiful beaches they are. We stayed there about 3 or  4 days before back to the capital.

Rugby

I would like to share with you another aspect of my life and this is rugby :).
-Do you know rugby ?
I'm not talking about the sport you can watch on TV, sitting on sofa. I want to speak about amateur rugby.
And everyone who pratice this sport will recognize in these words.

I speak about 15 friends and 7 more on the bench who fight every sunday afternoon during 80 min with only one goal : have a good time ! (and winning if it's possible ^^).
I said 80 min ? sorry my mistake, i wanted to say 80 min on the field and much more with the 3rd half-time.
Indeed in amateur rugby, the 3rd half-time is equally important (sometimes more) than the game itself.
Althought we don't have thousand of supporters, we are not alone, every action in our favor or not is accompanied by encouragement, applause or whistles.
It's maybe not an international level game but it's our level and we learn the same values that professionals  such as, like courage, sharing, passion, team spirit and many others...

I can speak to you about this sport for a long time but i prefer to have others opinions on the vision you have of rugby or even another :)

M1 Project

Today i want to introduce you one of my project for my studies.
Indeed in our 1st year of Master we have to direct a project around the sports world like product, service, or event.

We are two students working on this project, my mate Noëlla and I. We decided to work on the theme of hiking and more specifically hike for children.
Be honnest, for everyone, hiking is not a very exciting sport and more for children. This is why we thougt to creat an application (and website) to make this activity more attractive for them and of course also for parents.

We want our application offers some informations about culture, nature or even patrimony but we also want to creat a fun application with games, animations, themes on Gallic or fairy tales why not :)

Our goal is to give people and especialy children want to practice this sport and create a real community of hiking.

I hope we can bring this project to the end.

Sad day

I don't want to do politics or to talk about religion, but i think it's important to talk about what happened this friday 13th.
i know this world, our world, isn't perfect. Humans are not perfect to, and forntunately cause on otherwise we would have nothing to learn from each other... But i have a question, a single and simple question (without real answer i know):
How can someone do that ?!

My goal is not to create a debate, but i just would like to say that someone who can do this, is no more human in my opinion..

Despite the fact that we have to wait such horrible actions like these ones, i'm proud to see that the world can still unite to fight.

Just about me

Hi ! My name is Matthieu i'm a 26 years old student in Clermont-Ferrand. Since the past 3 years i studying sports and more, everything in relation with sport and marketing. And hopefully for me i passed my degree in sport management last year !

A few words about myself, i make or made many sports like martial arts, basket-ball or rugby. i love going to ski when i could (i also love sleeping on the beach on summer but it seems it's not a real sport :)

i love doing motorbike when the weather give me this chance, i love reading and playing video games (yeah i know it's bad for my social life :/ )
